Health app running summary data missing

Hi, so I frequently use the running app and have done for years using different devices and watches. In the past it always shows at the end how far I've gone, the exact route, my pace per kilometer and fastest lap. Today it did not. It just showed an odd looking lap, like someone drew a rough oval from my home to the furthest I went from my home on the run and back again but definitely not the actual route (which by rights it should have remembered by now!). And then it also didn't show lap times or pace but at the end it told me my distance (accurate), time etc, so I'm a bit confused. It's like it had access to all the same data it normally has but decided not to show it. 🙃  any idea why? I haven't touched anything to my knowledge.
