Not the best recommendation ... that's not transferring the original image

share photo w/ message (text them to yourself..your mobile number) and then tap (save them). thrn, photo will be in your galaxy

The easiest way to do this is

Use USB cable to connect to a desktop or laptop or tablet, etc ... then open Google Photos in a browser and download to phone.
