Is there a way to make the email application from Samsung more efficient? Or it gives me notifications whenever I receive emails without me.Having to go into the app for it to update

Samsung Apps and ServicesI do not understand what you are saying. Are you saying you receive notifications for emails when you did not physically open the app to see if there were any new emails? That's what email readers do - they periodically check for new emails and notify you that you have new mail - seems efficient to me. If you don't want the notifications, turn them off if you prefer to manually check for new emails - I do.

Samsung Apps and ServicesStill don't understand what you are trying to say. Are you saying that you want notifications, but you are not getting them, or that you don't want notifications and you are getting them? Have you turned notifications on for the app? Do you have notification categories on? If you respond, please respond with a complete thought, so that your issue is clear.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI bet if you ask one more clarifying question, you'll finally get it, ffs.
OP, you need to provide more information as well. What have you tried so far? Notifications are turned on I assume? What about the apps background permissions? If it is being restricted in anyway, unrestrict it then. Once you provide more details we can further specify what to do.

Samsung Apps and ServicesHello enderghast21,
I can understand how frustrating this can be to not receiving notifications for your email.
Have you attempted to try any of these troubleshooting steps?
1. Enable App Notifications: Go to Settings > Apps > [Email App] > Notifications and ensure "Allow notifications" is turned on.
2. Check In-App Settings: Open your email app (e.g., Samsung Email or Gmail), go to its settings, select your account, and make sure notifications are enabled for "All" or "Every Message".
3. Disable Power Saving Mode: Turn off Power Saving Mode in Settings > Battery.
4. Remove from Sleeping Apps: Go to Settings > Battery > Background usage limits and remove your email app from the "Sleeping apps" or "Deep sleeping apps" list.
5. Check Sync Settings: Ensure that auto-sync is enabled for your email accounts (Settings > Accounts and backup > Manage accounts > Auto-sync data).
6. Clear App Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > [Email App] > Storage and tap Clear Cache.
7. Disable Do Not Disturb: Make sure Settings > Notifications > Do not disturb is off.
8. Restart Device: Restart your phone to clear temporary bugs.
If issues persist, try removing and re-adding your email account, or checking if an app update is available in the Galaxy Store or Play Store.
Let me know if these steps helped any! ๐
