Missing data saver icon

Hello all there is no data saver icon under settings and connections and data usage. My phone is updated and I've edited my quick panel and there is no data saver toggle. I didnt turn it on but its saying its on so I cant use my hit spot. Somebody please help.

open your quick panel and hold this icon, once you do you can turn off data saver in its settings. it definitely should not be missing. probably use the search bar in your settings to find its exact spot.

That icon turns off mobile data.

Yep did that too. Its not there lol. I've been trying to figure this out for a year now.

I've used the search bar and its non existent on my phone. I've checked quick panel I've checked data usage I've done the search bar and its not here lol

guh that's weird, open the support tab on this app and submit an error report or however you prefer to get assistance from samsung. your best shot is talking directly to a staff member or remote management.

this is usually a carrier thing. have you switched recently? carriers can control settings related to SMS and calls and SIM management. when I went from unlocked to tmobile I lost the wifi calling toggle (since the plan had UNLcall/text it was redundant) and took away the mobile hotspot & data saver toggle. I used macrodroid to make new quick toggles for these options
