Need to authorize card to set-up in Samsung Pay

Hey all, I recently tried setting up my card but am confused. It only let me verify through "Call Bank" which then proceeded to make me enter my card number and pin. Then told me to press select keys that don't lead to verification. So I ended it and returned to the apl. It was looking for the code and then told me my card issuer needs to authorize it? What does this mean?

You need to call your bank or go to your banks' app to authorize Samsung Pay. Make sure your bank is on the list first

I believe it supports chase. Not sure where in their app I can authorize it?

Not all Chase cards are supported. Please verify this by clicking on add a card,view supported cards, click on chase, then look for your card.

It shows Chase Debit as supported. Which seems to be my card

Call Chase. Sometimes they have to authorize the card by verifying your info.

No. When I say call your bank, I mean call your bank using the number on your card or your statement. Call them directly. Speak with someone.

Yep call your bank of go to their website to see if that bank is on the list.
