Please include guests mode to ui 7 or mutiuser feature other small phone have it talkless of High cost phone. I hear the feature is included in iPad thanks
Appears a lot of the changes tn One UI 7 are changes just for change sake but don't really fix anything.
If it's not broke don't fix it. Samsung you are doing more to convince me to switch to iphone more than amything else because it appears by your software deveolpers that's who you want to be.
Biggest gripes are change to verticle app drawer from horizontal.
Notifications and quick settings now two swipes to get to. Why? When now it is accomplished with one as they are together.
Camera app, more touches in UI7 to acces controls. Why?
Search bar at the bottom of the screen. Why?
It's less eye strain at the top of screen or in the middle at normal eye level. At the bottom constantly causing strain on the eyes to look down.
I just hope with these what is described as updates users have the option to opt out.
If not my next phone will probably be an iphone because that what it seems you're trying to sell me anyway.
You can revert notification changes. The camera controls being collapsed prevents accidental touches (I had to "fix" two relatives phones cameras because they accidentally enabled the timer) while also moving it to the bottom for easier access with one hand or while using the camera. The controls are now directly next to the shutter and require no thumb gymnastics. Bottom search is, again, an ease of access thing. When you conplain about samsung "not being true to themselves", you are aware that the entire design philosophy behind oneui is to cluster interactions on the bottom half and has been since 2018, right? This is how it should have been from the get go.
What you consider ease of use might be another person's annoyance and or frustration. As a person with large hands. I don't have any issues teaching search or themca!era controls the way they currently are.
I am not interested in Samsung's take on the dynamic island and I like the notification pull down the way it currently is. I don't need or want it to be side specific. These changes are going to push me into getting rid of my s23 Ultra and never looking at Samsung devices again. I do not want want an iPhone clone or an iPhone!
Yeah, I think that whenever I finally end up with the new UI, if I really hate and and can't customize it to *my* liking, I'll be going back to Asus. So far, I am not liking what I'm hearing or seeing about it.
So? Samsung is allowed to make the search bar easier to reach, same for the camera. You aren't forced to be with Samsung if you don't like it or don't update at all Options exist, and it's the biggest update we got in a long time. This is not 2018 anymore.
Please move on to the developers of one ui 7 to see if they do something similar in the samsung , I'm not saying it's the same but similar because it looks very elegant.
