Samsung Apps and ServicesYou say people aren't saying what frustrates them. They are you just aren't reading, apparently.
The whole UI looks closer to apple, and for what purpose? Why on earth would I want to use my settings more than my notifications. How does it make sense to swipe down, then go the left to get to notifications when they have been easily accessible single the original android released.
This update single handedly will have me looking into other phone companies next time I upgrade.
If I wanted an apple with cheap looking UI that was annoying and overly complicated, I would have bought an apple. I think people have a right to be frustrated that the $2,000 phone they have just randomly got worse and closer to a competitor that is objectively worse in nearly every way.
I find it interesting that you couldn't even name a single improvement this UI has made, you had to resort to insults toward someone with a legitimate gripe. I avoided this update like the plague after seeing what it did to my wife's phone just for it to update overnight. Which i also was so thrilled about, it's nice being woken up at 1 in the morning when I have to be up at 4 because of an update I didn't want blasting my phones start up music.

Samsung Apps and ServicesIt's understandable to not like the update
If you're really that pressed, do the work to change it yourself. You can use Odin, and a windows machine to do this. You should use the XDA website for guidance.

Samsung Apps and Services- The fact I have to go out of my way to change a setting to get back to a single bar notification system? Annoying. I have it mostly back to how I like it but something seems...off
- The **bleep** battery icon. It's **bleep**ing round, why? It doesn't even display a battery anymore and there is no way to fix it.
- Why on earth is everything ROUND and smooth? I enjoyed the sharp look the old UI HAD a lot more than this new one.
- The lock screen sound and unlock sound. Tf is this, the old one was sharp and finite. This one is dull and melodic for some reason.
- Why tf is my clock time bold now?
- They moved the app search bar from the top to bottom? Tf for, now it's just weird.
- I hate how notifications look in the drop down now, and there is no way to change it back or make them smaller. It's just fat and round. Gross.
- What tf is with the weather App UI now? I can't center it. It shows way less information than before, now I have to click it. This was stupid.
- This is probably the biggest reason and most valid. I'm a creature of habit. I workout nearly the same time everyday for the last 3 or 4 years. I have NEVER had to actively charge my phone in the gym. I've always had about the same % of battery life to start and end my workouts. There has been a SUBSTANTIAL increase in battery usage with this new update. I dont know if it's because everything is larger, more displayed, etc. I have no idea. The battery % increase is at least 30%, if not more. I've changed nothing about what I do so I know it's not me not charging my phone.
I get to the gym with around 80% life nearly everyday. Now? I'm lucky if im in the 60%.
Why tf did they go round and....smooth? I loved the sharp style Samsungs UI had before. This ain't it. So, dude...shut up.
