Please include guests mode to ui 7 or multiuser feature other small phone have it talk less of High cost phone. I hear the feature is included in iPad thanks
A few annoying things with this update that I can't seem to fix:
-All my notifications are TINY and at top
-All my favorite contacts are now placed AFTER my "mist recently added" contacts which goes back 3 years so I have to scroll for my favorites.
- when I go to send a new text, I have to click at the top to add someone instead of it automatically being ready for me to type their name. **bleep**?
- for settings, I realize you have to pull down on the top right, not center. For notifications you pull down from top left i/o center. I liked the single pull down option that showed all at once.
- I'm not sure, but I think there might be a fix for the tiny notifications.
- You can eliminate the most recently added contacts by tapping each one and then moving on to the next one. It's tedious if there are a lot, but this only has to be done once and then when new ones are added, they only stay up a day or two or you can dismiss them immediately by tapping on them. The reason everything you added in the last 3 years show up now is because, with the new update, technically all your contacts have been recently added. After that, your favorites will be first once again.
- I can't speak to the new text issue as I do not yet have the update, and I assume you are referring to Samsung Messages, which I do not use.
-You can put the notification area and quick panel back together (this might also be the fix for the tiny notifications) by pulling down on the right top of your screen to expose the quick panel, tap the edit pencil, tap the panel and then choose "together". This will put the two sections back together and you will have to do the double swipe to go from the quick panel/notifications to the control panel.

This update is trash. My Fn phone sucks now. Im about to throw it at the wall. Its not loading stuff, battery drains way fast and take longer to charge. **bleep** Samsung #Samsung
Absolutely hate this update, preferred the old/new icons (why did they revert when thet already changed these), the scroll down to see alerts, but worst of all it deleted some settings of my appps so I can no longer see things like my security cameras and weather station. Obviously no pre release testing on users, Samsung just deciding what it thinks is good for us.
I dislike the update, horrible layout, even changed the swipedown, figured out how to change it back.
This is the worst update, how about an option to change back for those of us that liked Android, I left Apple years ago for Samsung, feels like this is a big step backwards.
So are my options really to find a new make, anyone tried the Google phone?
I hate ui 7. It sucks. The battery icon is stupid. Why is the time on the lock screen stacked on itself? Who in their right mind would write the time like that?? What kind of crack smoking developers worked on this big pile of dog **bleep**?
Not loving the ui7 update forcing this vertical scrolling nonsense for apps. Bring back the option to have horizontal scrolling. Not this custom BS which emulates the layout of the home screens then randomly adds the rest of the apps at the end. Only first day with it and I hate it, it's so counterintuitive. Who even asked for vertical scrolling to be the default and only option?
I have used Samsung for over a decade and android since the beginning of smart phones. This is the worst update I have ever seen. First Gemini gets a downgrade and loses ability. Gemini then tells me to switch to ChatGTP because it can't handle any requests anymore. So the appeal of an AI Samsung phone is out the window.
Next the UI update is awful. I am going to switch to Apple if nothing is fixed. The layout is garbage. The double notification panel makes no sense. Apple has the feature but it works properly- this is nonsense. I adjust brightness every few minutes because I am very light sensitive (and adaptive doesn't work well enough) and now I have to completely open another screen to adjust settings when it used to be right in the notification panel and would pop down half way. Easy and quick - gone. Options were moved for no reason, quick launches moved. Even screenshot options got switched for no reason. All my apps ate moved around. Notifications are ugly. Someone has to be trying to crash Samsung and Google because no one can make that many bad decisions. What a terrible experience. Samsung has failed its people. I just bought a $1500 Samsung phone for an update to make it last in class.
Did the 1u 7 update , phone screen quality has reversed 20 years , gritty hazy so bad to look at my screen quality was crystal clear before .. photo quality is now grainy , tweeked the resolution and no change . Scrolling is a blurred mess you hurt your eyes trying to find what you want .
Phone now has a severe lag on it .
The battery is draining quicker .
The layout of app widgets look like faded photocopy pictures .
Side buttons now have different functions and that just in 24 hrs .the screen and movement actually hurts the eyes to watch , guess I'll be spending less time on my phone , been with Samsung over 15 years and this is so bad I'm considering leaving android as support can't for issues either .
