I use Samsung notes to create handwritten notes, just like a sheet of paper. When I export my notes to pdf, lines of my text often get split between pages. Is there a way to have an indication of where the page split will be while I write?

Thanks.

I recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy Tab A to a Samsung Galaxy Tab6 Lite. I had trouble using Samsung Notes but this helped me with writing notes. First I had to upgrade my Samsung Notes to Version 4.2.01.53. As for the page breaks I noticed I had to go the settings (the cogwheel icon) in the Samsung Notes app and go to "Page Style and Template" then set it to "Individual pages" BEFORE creating my document to get the page breaks. This also allows you to be able to edit pages (like delete a page or insert a page.) I noticed I couldn't change it afterwards from an infinite scrolling document to an individual page document. Hope this helps someone.

Not sure if this is the same on a tablet. Try this:

  1. Open Samsung Notes and go to settings (3 line menu -> gear)
  2. Click Note style
  3. Set it to "Individual pages" instead of "Infinite scrolling page"

Unfortunately I don't have this option. I am on a Tab S4 with Android 8.1.0 and latest version of Samsung Notes (3.3.10.2). Will this option be added for tablets too?

This does not help. This will only cause the page to be put in pages after export not before. So the problem is: it does not show the page break before exporting. So how to make the page breaks visible?
