Pictures from Instagram saves as (webp) and can't send through messenger because of the format?

When i saved a picture taken in Instagram camera its save as webp but when i want to send this pic in messenger i can't because of the format but the format is also webp in google photo and in messenger i can just sent it  are there a setting parameter can make this easy I'm new Samsung user I came from iphone and this was smooth in iphone i save image and i sent it in messenger directly

Never had a problem receiving pics from iPhones or sending any from my Samsung except over size.  Good luck!

No no i mean when i download a pic taken in Instagram app and i want to send it with messenger i can't (probably format problem) I'm only use a samsung device just said i didn't face this problem before on the iphone

Open Google photos, open the photo, tap share, and choose messenger.

On iPhone, iOS automatically converts formats behind the scenes. Android usually doesn’t.

Messenger won't let you attach a WEBP photo from there.Messenger can send it if it accesses it differently (like from within the app)

Google Photos automatically converts the image to JPG when sharing.
