I've just updated my Mac OS to Catalina 10.15.7 and cannot get my Samsung Express C460W printer driver working.  I downloaded a new driver from http://www.samsungdrivers.net/samsung-c460w-driver/

I get this message when trying to install:

“InstallerApps” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

Could anybody perhaps help?

Thank you, I see that the correct driver (a 64 bit) was on the HP website (https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers) and not on the Samsung website which I was originally looking at  which only supplied the old 34 bit driver). All seems to be working fine now.!

When I was trying with teh 34 bit driver I was getting all those security isssues – and the work-around you mentioned above didn't work for me.

Do you perhaps know where Mac stores these drivers, becasue I don't see them in the Applications folder?

When you get that message on your Mac you need to:

  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Click on the Security & Privacy icon
  3. Click the General tab
  4. Click the button to allow the application to be opened.
