I just did an interactive check on the phone.  There was an error message after checking the "hard key" volume up, down and power key, indicating that I may need to upgrade the software.  I just bought the phone a couple of weeks ago.

It is likely that an update is available for your phone already even after purchasing it recently. I would recommend going to Settings>Software Updates>Download and Install to update your phone to the most recent software available for your device.
