Samsung Calendar app icon doesn't match current date

I just noticed that the number on the calendar app icon does not match with the today date. I remember that the number on the icon and the date are matched, so I don't know when this happened. 

Does anyone have this happening? How do I fix it? (Restart did not resolve it)

It shows correctly in app info.

The app version is 12.4.02.9000

Mine matches. Try rebooting the phone. If this does not correct the issue, go to recovery and clear system cache and repair apps.

Are you using an icon pack? Those usually don't have the correct date on the icon

Never use an icon pack or any GoodLock feature.

Hmm how odd.

A couple more things I can think of to try:

Make sure all permission are enabled for calender.

Clear the cache of the app (don't clear "data" as that could delete events)

If all else fails, reboot to recovery screen and wipe cache from there

Thanks guys. I found that it's a bug or something that other people who updated the app to the latest version (12.4.02.9000) have the same issue.

It's related to using the color palette for icons. If you turn it off the date is correct. Switching it back on changes it back to 28.
