Samsung Care+ not letting me switch from IMEI to serial number

I've been attempting to register my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (bluetooth only) on Samsung Care+ but I don't have an IMEI, only the serial number. For some reason, Samsung Care+ presents the option for a serial number but the bar to change to it is grayed out. I've attempted this on three devices so far, anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe try using the browser in desktop mode, hope it helps.

When I tried to enter my serial number, it tells that "The IMEI you have entered is not a US IMEI." This is a problem for Wi-Fi variants that do not have an IMEI, especially when the Service Provider Software Version clearly says that it is a US device.
