Samsung Health App not counting all steps

Hi, the App counts about 20% fewer steps during the day than other apps do. It appears that Samsung Health is too senstive to stops in movement and/or fails to restart counting as quickly as it should. No general settings are available to fix this. The settings for recording a workout have the option to turn movement detection off, but that doesn't affect the global setting. This is very important because this information gets synced with my health provider.

sometimes depending on where you have your device while walking an inaccurate step count will be recorded. For example, if you have your phone in a bag as to in your pocket. I would suggest a third party device or a Samsung device that has fitness sensors included in it's software. Once connected to your phone the app will count steps from both devices.

You should try Fitzy+ app ( https://www.fitzy.plus ) which does the step counting and tracks all day activities.  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=plus.fitzy.fitzy_app Their calculations are similar to Google Fit. @userMUYcO6XGWD
