Samsung Health not tracking sleep properly on Watch 3

I've only had my new watch 3 about a week, but it's not tracking my sleep until roughly 2-3 hours after I start sleeping.  So even though I typically get 7-8 hours of sleep every night, the sleep app tells me I'm only getting about 5-6.  Any thoughts?

is your heart rate tracking on? it's apparently more accurate when HR is tracking continuous.
