In the recent UI 6.1 update, the keyboard's behavior for backticks has changed.
As a Markdown user, I frequently use backticks to highlight text or denote code. To enhance its accessibility, I added it to the 'custom symbols' menu.
Previously, the backticks appeared as expected, both in the doubly nested menu and the 'custom symbols' menu. However, after the update, the backticks in the 'custom symbols' menu display incorrectly, causing frustration and hindering my workflow.
For example, when using backticks from the nested keyboard menu, the text appears as: > `this text is backticked`
However, when using backticks from the 'custom symbols' menu, the text now appears as: > ̀This next is supposed to be backticked̀
it could look like this too:
> ẁò̀r̀̀̀̀̀d̀̀̀̀̀̀̀̀̀̀̀
This unexpected behavior significantly impacts my productivity and overall Samsung experience.
I also encountered the same problem, and I 100% agree. I also use the backtick a lot, and this bug definitely affected my experience and productivity. Any solution would be greatly appreciated.
