So why do I have to enable history to have predition on? I dont want the keyboard to learn anything new... but that should not mean it cant give me some option for words or help out with spelling as I type.  So because of this I now use Gboard from Google.  It does just that... no history saved, yet helps me with words. Cause lets face it, words are hard.

no list that I know of, but you can reset everything it has learned. just Google resetting learned words on samsung keyboard and you should be able to do it if wanted...

I turned off the Samsung keyboard and use Google keyboard, you can turn off the prediction aspect....

yep using Google keyboard as well (Gboard). prediction is on, history is off. I'd like Samsung keyboard to do the same as there are other features I'd like to use.

So, Auto Spell check option doesn't offer what you want?

not really... I want suggestions as I type, but not a history of what I type. I hate that it saves a website, then next time I type a "w" this big long web site pops up as a suggestion. And in a totally different app then a web browser.

Hmmm. My Auto Spell check was not enabled, so I enabled it ... and it offers spelling suggestions, and underlines misspellings in red, then when I click on it, it offers words to choose.

Oddly, I don't get the "history word suggestion" as you see ... I must have some setting turned off. I might browse around to find that setting.

yep, I will get a red line as well if I spell something wrong.  I can then click on it for a list as well.  But its still nice to get suggestions as I'm spelling the word out... and suggestions on the next word I may want to use...  My spelling is horrable, always has been, so I rely on the spell check and suggestions alot as I type... I even have spelling and suggestions turned on in Windows 10 for hardware keyboard... I'm just looking for the history option to be seperate from off the other options. If that were the case I'd switch to Samsung keyboard in a heartbeat.

ahhhhhh. Now I get it... "suggested words" vs "history word suggestions". Sometimes, I don't get it right away : )

And you want this capability across all apps you use (and not just for, say, a browser).

Let me ask - you say you prefer Sam-board over Gboard ... what one or two features does Sboard have over Gboard?

The ability to use handwriting (I have a Note 10). The stickers and bitmoji just seems to work better. And last I looked you can change the keyboards look and feel more on Sboard. Sboard also works better with samsung apps like messages.

I have a Note 10 as well and ran into this issue after the update. My keyboard is constantly trying to switch some of my words to phrases that I've used in the past. If I recall correctly, there was a way to access a list of "learned words/phrases" previously, but I can't seem to find that in settings any longer.
