Samsung Apps and ServicesWoohoo.
Thank you, Samsung!
The Samsung Magician 7.1.1 recognizes my 980Pro SSD without any compatibility issues or complaints about Intel RST controller.
If I could ask one more thing....if Magician could provide the same functions for OEM SSDs. PLEASE!
Thanks, again.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI just ran the update to v7.1.1. After installation, the program immediately crashes. The same thing happened last time there was an update to v7.1.0. Here is the crash info from Event Viewer. Why do these updates keep crashing on me? I updated an Intel Z370 system and an AMD X570 system. Both have 980 Pro drives. Both updates versions crash on both machines.

Samsung Apps and ServicesUpdated on my gaming machine with 8 Samsung NVME's installed with no problem.
Try uninstall, cold boot, and install again for troubleshooting purposes.
Is your Internet ok?

Samsung Apps and ServicesI have been running v7.0.1.630 because when I updated to v7.1.0.770, Magician would crash so I went back to v7.01.630. This time I tried updating to v7.1.1.820. Same thing so back to v7.0.1.630.
2 different machines. One is an Intel Z370 system, the other is AMD X570. Both have Samsung 980 Pro. The intel machine also has a 970 Pro and an 850 Pro (SSD). The AMD system also has a 970 Evo+. Both are running Windows 10 21H2 build 19044.1706. Nothing has worked for me since v7.0.1.630. I have tried completely uninstalling the old version first, including using Revo Uninstaller. Doesn't matter. Both of the last updates crash for me on both machines.
