Before I go to report this i just wanna know if this is a known bug with the widget redesign for samsung music or not

Samsung Apps and Services@skyfox56 I don't think the 4x1 widget shows any cover art. Have you tried the 2x2 widget?

I understand how frustrating it can be when a widget isnโt displaying correctly, especially when it impacts everyday use. While the steps below may not fully resolve the underlying issue, they can help reduce how noticeable the problem appears and improve the overall experience.
Please try the following:
Adjust Display Settings
Navigate to Settings > Display
Set Font size back to the default
Set Display size back to the default
Refresh the Widget
Remove the affected widget from the Home screen
Re-add the widget
If possible, try selecting a slightly larger widget size, as this can sometimes give on-screen elements more breathing room
Clear App Cache
Go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Music
Tap "Force stop"
Select Storage
Clear Cache only (do not clear data)
