Including that search bar option within the editor or viewer mode would be useful with this feature too.

This feature already exists. Click on the menu to the top left corner. It says tags.

When you are in a note and tap the three dot menu to the right top corner, it also says tags. You should be able to add them from there. The previous message was how to view them after you tag them.

The viewer mode you are speaking of is also in the three dot menu to the top right corner. It reads full screen. When you were in a note and clicked that it would be in "viewer mode" as you requested. Let me know if I can assist any further.

Oh I know it has that but I was talking about a more user friendly way with the select option. Similar to how hyperlinks work but hyperlink a hashtag to find your item for you.
I get confused if my tags actually get saved when using the #,+ and clock symbols.
Here is an example video of what I mean with touchnotes feature.
When touching the text it takes me to the example written word and highlights
