Every time I go to resize a screenshot & grab the top of it to drag it down, I have to click and drag several times because it continually tries to open the pull-down panel/quick panel menu & it's driving me insane. Does anyone know how to turn this off??? I didn't have this problem before the new UI update. I can't find anything online about it, either
You can resize from the bottom part of the screenshot too then drag the whole square or rectangular crop to fit it exactly where you need it. What device do you have btw? If you have an Ultra phone, you can crop what you need using the S Pen as well
I have an S24 Ultra. When I use the S Pen at the top of the screen, and pull down at the area that SHOULD allow you to resize the picture, it will INSTEAD pull the quick panel down. And once it has done that, the top menu bar literally will not go away no matter what I do & I am completely unable to resize any pictures after that happens.
It seems to be mostly an issue with scrolled screenshots and longer images that start up towards the top of the screen anyways. I have to carefully select the top area of the image without accidentally "activating" the pull down menu, which usually takes several tries before it successfully does it.
I can see how that would be annoying just tried it myself. Try grabbing the corner and holding for just a second, then pull down. Seemed (for me) it didn't activate the panel.
Yeah this seems to be the best way to go about it. If I hold down the line until it turns blue, keep it held for a second, and THEN drag it, it seems to not trigger the pull down menu. Really weird design flaw honestly.
