Samsung Store vs Google play

I would love to leave everything Google. But the Samsung Store doesn't include some apps I use frequently. Does anyone know anything about this? Will Samsung be adding more apps?? Thanks ahead of time.

You do know that Android itself is Google, yes? So no matter what phone you have, if it isn't an iPhone, then it's Google.

Although I still wish the Samsung Store would carry more apps.

The overlap between the 2 stores is often annoying. I have a constant notif from the Galaxy Store that I have an app to update but it also says it's can't update the app because it was installed from the Play Store. If I uninstall the Play version and install the Galaxy version, then I have a permanent update notice for that same app from the Play Store. Ironically it's a Microsoft app. There's just no winning these days 😆

I totally agree, it's a vicious circle. Maybe one day they'll spend more time straightening this out, instead of pushing new products on us. 🤔🤷

@90sGirl7 The Samsung Store has apps which are either only usable on Samsung devices or are customized with special features for Samsung devices. 

The Play store has a much larger catalog of apps and are usable (in large) by any Android device.
