Samsung Video App Needs Casting Feature.

Can you all please add the chromecast feature to the samsung video app. Please..I dont know when's the last time that app got an update but it should get the casting feature regardless. It helps especially when all these other apps i use like vlc and google photos stutter or just wont play movies i download. Casting feature to the original Samsung video app please and thanks.

The standalone Samsung Video app was officially discontinued on January 1, 2024.

The app was removed from the Galaxy Store and stopped receiving compatibility support.

Well that explains a lot. I still have the app. Seems like samsung might be going down hill when it comes to their native apps or software.

Why can't you cast your entire screen? Put a Smart View shortcut in your quick settings. Pull down quick settings when you have the video open.

I was trying to make it to where i dont have to leave my phone screen on or if I needed to use my phone it wouldn't mess up the movie. I have both a samsung phone and TV. But ill look into what you just suggested and see how that works. And other ideas please feel free to lay some knowledge my way.
