Scroll to Samsung Internet, tap
Force Stop (lower right)
Tap Storage - Clear cache
Start Samsung Internet
Navigate to Secret Mode Settings
Ensure Use Password and Use Fingerprints are enabled
Try again (switch into Safe mode)
I recently noticed something similar. On some website sign in pages Samsung pass responds quickly, I use the fingerprint, it fills in the credentials and automatically signs in.
On this website and a few others it doesn't respond until I tap the password entry field and then tap the email entry field. It displays the email address for the Samsung account sign in, I tap it, Samsung pass asks for the fingerprint and I tap sign in. Strange but true.
Haven't done this for a while so I think I'll clear the cache and data for Samsung pass, set it back up and check the results.
It's probably something more to do with the websites since it works great on some but not all websites.
Yeah sending error reports is a good idea. I hope they look into this and send a patch through the galaxy store. I can't think of anything else to try but maybe someone else will have a solution.
