Samsung notes keep crashing

I just updated my phone, and now samsung notes keep crashing and a pop up says samsung notes is not working. It's a blank app and sometimes it pulls the app showing zero notes. I need it working because it has all my important notes on there someone help!!!

Im having the same problem after i update my phone, but i solved it by allowing the permission to access to my device, like all the options their. Hope it will help.

Hello there, I am also having the same issue and like you I have importanr work on there.  what I did though to save it was holding on the document and sharing it to my google drive which transferred everything over there so if you really nead it, you can transfer.

SJohnson is correct.  You should update the "Samsung Notes" app.  It can be easily found in the Google Play Store.  Just search for Samsung Notes, and select "Update".  I also had problems (on my Galaxy S10e) due to the year-end update.  I could not read my Samsung notes until I updated the app (as described above).  Several features were added, so you should update anyway.

Do NOT uninstall and re-install the Samsung Notes app.  You will lose your data.

This little exercise made me realize how much I rely upon this little "Notes" app.  I used the Notes app to "share" to my email address.  Then I saved my data on my computer (using Word encryption) as a backup.

YOU ARE AN ANGEL AND A GENIUS!  That is EXACTLY what worked and helped me access my notes!  Thank you so much for sharing that.  After the update yesterday, which I put off for over a week, I was devastated to lose access to the contact of all my notes with all manner of crucial information stored there.  I am so grateful to you!

For others,  if perchance the above doesn't work,  what did work for me also was sharing the notes to email and the information of the notes appeared there embedded in the email. Much love everyone.
