Smart View affected by root? A720F

Is the smart view affected by root?

My device is A720F and is rooted.

I tried to use smart view and a toast appears that says "could not open smart view".

I found a way to make it work.

I scoured the xda forums for a solution.

Add this line at the end of build.prop found in /system : 

wlan.wfd.hdcp=disable

After adding the line, save the file and reboot

Smart view should work again.
