Weird Photos in Gallery's Recent folder

Hi there,

To keep things short, I was living with my Fiancee and we broke up. I moved out 5 months ago.

Today, I went to clean out my phone clutter and opened the Recent folder on my phone. Somehow there were photos of the house we lived in together but with new paint colors and furniture layouts, plus pictures of the cat she adopted after I left, showing up in the Gallery on my phone.

How/Why is this happening? To my knowledge, my Samsung account was never on her phone and this has never happened before.

If I can see some of her photos and videos, she could see mine too. Seems like a major security issue. Thanks!

Have you enabled sharing or sent a link to share something with her? Samsung backup and integration with Microsoft OneDrive is a feature that allows you to sync your photos, videos, and files from your Samsung Gallery and MyFiles apps to OneDrive, a cloud storage service from Microsoft.
You can see what you have shared with other people in the OneDrive app. She may have saved something that you sent in an album and is using that to store her new pictures in.

None of the OneDrive connections have any of those photos. They are either from the Samsung Gallery or Google. I changed both of those passwords, but I've never shared anything with her, and neither of those have any Sharing settings set up. By the time I got this phone, our relationship had soured and she and I were barely talking. I honestly can't think of a way for this to have happened unless she's been doing something she shouldn't with my accounts. I was hoping someone had seen something similar before.

I share my markups on house plans with my draftsman for workup and the files cam be very large. It's been really good for that. Interesting situation, good luck and let us know when you figure out what happened.

Its easy to change a setting in your phone or even mirror , or even remotly see and change you phone. Theres so many ways that youll never figure it out I promise. So spend money to havr a pro look into it or just save yourself the time and save your important stuff, with smart switch lol, and factory reset that b!+ch. Only way to make sure ALL your settings and previous" shared" things are now ONLY YOURS.
