Why can't I use my rewards to purchase anything on the Shop app?

I would like to know why I can't use my rewards to purchase anything on the shop app. I receive points every month for having tv and me but what is the sense in during my part but Samsung is not letting me use them to purchase.

Thank you i will try it again they just put the item in the cart and have no idea how to use the rewards

@Nanlat You can use the points in the Shop app. Make sure that you are logged into the same Samsung account where you have the points. Then in the payment screen, several screens into the process, you will be able to select the points.

You can only purchase Samsung items with no trade in they have items on the app that are not Samsung so you can't buy them

@Nanlat I have frequently used points when making purchases on the Shop app with a trade in. 

What non-Samsung product would you be purchasing on the Samsung Shop app?

I did purchase things in the past with a trade in but Samsung rep said it couldn't be done now. What a was thinking about was a ring doorbell it doesn't come from Samsung but on the spp

@Nanlat Yeah I don't think you can use Samsung points for items like that. You would probably need to pay for them separately from your Samsung items.
