They scratch some surfaces, especially stainless steel & my glass top stove. I really like them but I'm also concerned about micro plastics. What's your favorite way to use them?

I use them to take off marks on walls. Works great to take off marks from crayons, pencils, and markers.

Magic Erasers are a mild abrasive and they will scratch delicate surfaces and dull high gloss ones.  Unless one absolutely has no other remedy, they are fine for very occasional use on those surfaces as long as one does not rub too hard or too long, but one should really be using a non-abrasives such as baking soda or Bon Ami on those surfaces.  The microplastics are another issue, since each time you use the Magic Eraser, it erodes. They are made from Melamine foam.

I like to use simple green with them. The trick is to not let them dry up. Keep em wet. I wouldn't use on stainless steel, tho. Simple green itself can clean stainless steel. Then, use polish after. Hope I helped 😊

Hi, I use them to clean shoes. Great on scuff marks on the sides of the rubber soles.
