Can't create room in Smart Things

Just got a new Crystal UHD 7 Series Samsung TV.  Smart Things on my Samsung S8 sees it and prompts me to add it.  Smart Things sees my location but then says I need to create a room.  I select Bedroom 1 (or any of the other choices) and then "Next" to proceed to the wallpaper selection screen. I select a wallpaper and try to "Save" but it just goes back to the previous screen without saving.

It looks like the return to previous screen button is superimposed on the Save button, and it is only seeing the return to previous screen (see screen shot).

I have uninstalled/reinstalled Smart Things and restarted the phone but the error continues. Thanks for any suggestions.

You can try settings > display > navigation bar and switch from buttons to gestures. Then the back button and save button won't be on top of each other (although that shouldn't happen anyway, as the app should resize). In any case, you could switch back after you finish the setup
