I’ve had the Powerbot R7040 for about three weeks and it had been working great.  The past few days, however, I’ve been finding it in random spots around the house, totally out of juice.  Most frequently, it’s been in the back bedroom, not caught on anything, not wedged in any tough spot.  The mark on the carpet don’t show any random patterns showing confusion, but also no attempt to make a move back toward the base.  Any thoughts? Solutions?   Thanks!

I reset the robot vac from the bottom switch and it seems to be working now.

What is pissing me off now is that to visit this forum, EVERYTIME, it tells me I have tried to login too many times, even though it was only the first and I had to reset my password, which then screws up all my other samung linked accounts.

So thanks for the help. This will be my last visit here, cause I'm runing out of passwords I can remember, and reset.

Hello I am having similar issues with my powerbot not being able to fully complete a auto clean due to getting lost before making it to the docking station.  Was there a fix for this?

Samsung gave me the option to send it off for repairs because there are no service options in my area (Arkansas). But they wouldn't answer me about an estimated problem or probable cost, so I declined to do that. How was I supposed to gauge the repair costs vs benefits otherwise? My husband took it apart and thinks it might be the brush motor. From his research online, that's a common issue. But we haven't gotten the part in to try it out yet.

This is happening to me too. In addition, we got a new brush (directly from Samsung) and it worked fine for a while, but now we're also getting C 01 (something in the brush) codes. There is absolutely NOTHING on the brush, but everytime we take it out and double check. We have tried switching totally off, but same issues.

How long have you had the unit? How long has the issue been occurring?

I've had it a little over a year. The issue started around 4 months ago.
