I bought this vacuum about 2 weeks ago. I decided on this one because it has a mapping report. In short, it does not! Do not buy this if you are wanting this feature. it is clearly labeled on the box that it has a coverage map report and even shows a picture of a phone with a coverage map. I called in to Samsung and the representative said I was mistaken about the box. then he told me I could return it to where I bought it from and they would give me the model that has the mapping feature. I don't think it's the retailer's fault that this product is sold with false advertising. I would like Samsung to call me and either show me how to get the map on this or get me one that can. Take a look at the picture and text on the box and call me to discuss.

@apexdestroyer13:  Thank you for your patience.  You would need to use the Samsung Connect app. There is no mapping option.  It does the mapping and stores it internally.  Once it finishes vacuuming, you can see the map by checking the history.  In Device control, you can either swipe down from the top and pick history or in the touch menu in the top right, select history.

I downloaded the Smart Home app and registered the vacuum. it told me that this product is not compatible with the Smart Home app and was designed for Samsung Connect. I can view the history in the connect app but no maps.

I can't even get it to connect to my Samsung Galaxy s 8 times out at 51%. called support 10 times still waiting on that 24-48 escalated phone call. it did work with my wife's iPhone. There is no map there either. I saw box and have a problem of false represention. how can it not work with a Samsung current model phone but with iPhone. any support would be great

I tried a few times to connect it. eventually I got it to work after a few tries. keep trying with the Samsung Connect app. I am really disappointed about the misrepresentation and I hope they can come up with a solution. that was the deciding factor in choosing this vacuum. still waiting for a response.

Hello Samsung. I am also having this issue - no map in the history. Is there an update to this?

 

I have the Samsung Connect app (same as the other user, the Home app referred the Connect app. It took a long time to add the device but eventually did. ) I only see errors and charging notifications in the history. 

 

Please advise. I am beyond frustrated with the false advertising and I'm hoping there is a solution.
