I just purchased a Q 80T 65inch tv. Every now and then, the volume shuts off. No reason. I can't recreate it. The software is up today. I have run diagnostics, nothing. The only fix is to unplug the tv...and replug it in.
I have no soundbar.
Is there any fix for this or should it be returned?

I'm sorry to hear that, is this occur while watching an app on the TV or a device such as an Xbox or PlayStation?

It seems to be when switching from tv to games and back. No real pattern

I also recently purchased a Q80T and also have a sound issue which is that when watching streaming content from the internet the sound cuts out for a brief second every hour or two. I have made arrangements for a repair visit thru my warranty for Samsung to investigate the problem but do not have much confidence.

The odd thing is the problem is easily found on the internet, Samsung doesn't address it, and its common. Terrible.
