I have been trying to connect my washer to my phone since day one of purchas and it never connects. I get past putting in my wifi password and it just says there's an error try again later. My router is not far from my washer and is an airport extream. I have the Front Load add wash washer and I'm just hoping someone has figured this out.

Did you speak with the Smart Home team directly or the Home Appliance team? You can directly reach the Smart Home team by calling 866-813-2404; the number provided previously above asks for information regarding the issue to direct you to the correct department.
Sorry to hear, I've actually escalated this issue to the developers in order to have them look into this further. Mind providing me with the following so I may add you to the list?

I am also trying to get my WF42h5200A smart washer to connect to the Samsung Smart Washer with no luck.
The app verson is v2.1.23
I have an iPhone 8 running version 11.2.1
On my washer i get --: and can not get past that

My washer is brand new
I have my other wifi devices on my wifi
I have an updated iphone 8 running version 11.2.1
The direction in the app and manual do not match and neither one works
I can not find anything on your website to help either

I have the same issue. Washer and dryer cannot be seen in the Wi-Fi settings on my iPhone X. Had the Add Wash set for one week and may return for the LG set if I cannot get this issue resolved.
