Smart things app for pc windows stopped working when i upgraded to windows 11 insider previews

NO matter how many times i enable location and run in background permissions for smart things, i still get the first picture saying smart things wont run. Smart things worked on my pc up until last month when i upgraded to windows 11. It has not worked since. I am also on the windows insider preview build 22581. I get a new windows insider preview build every week, so it is possible the constant changing of my windows 11 version messes with how smart things runs. However, no other pc app malfunctions after minor windows 11 upgrades. Only smart things. Please help.
