Smart things no longer lets me add my Samsung TV series 6 to a room and the remote has disappeared it treats my TV like a different brand only lets it added to directly connected devices

I'm sorry to hear that, if possible have you tried a factory reset on the TV? Also, can I have your full model number?

Have you had this issue fixed? My 65 and 43 inch 6 series are doing the same thing now. I read google post where others have the same issue.

yeah there was a smartthings app update later that week that fixed it. also make sure your tv firmwares are up to date. that's all I got. good luck
