it doesn't play well with my LG TV (not sure whose fault that is), but I use it with my Philips Hue lights, my Honeywell thermostat. I'm sure others use it for much more than I do.
No, the Samsung SmartThings Hub is at the moment, unfortunately, not yet by default directly compatible with a WebOS LG TV. It is primarily because LG has their own Smart Hub app.
