I just switched to Fios internet which doesn't use a co-ax connection, just ethernet. My question is do I need to use their modem or can my Smartthings Wifi be used as the modem and router since it has an in and out ethernet connector? The reason I ask is I've heard Frontiers modem/ router combos put out less speeds. Would like to know if the SmartThings Wifi would be able to take the place of that. I have one computer that requires an Ethernet connection.
