Smartthings Wifi question.

JUMP TO SOLUTION
I just switched to Fios internet which doesn't use a co-ax connection, just ethernet. My question is do I need to use their modem or can my Smartthings Wifi be used as the modem and router since it has an in and out ethernet connector?  The reason I ask is I've heard Frontiers modem/ router combos put out less speeds. Would like to know if the SmartThings Wifi would be able to take the place of that. I have one computer that requires an Ethernet connection.

So I actually just tested this and yes it does work. and actually my connection is faster than Frontiers system. I will leave this up incase anybody can use the information.
