Hey everyone,
I’ve noticed an issue with Adaptive Power Saving in the One UI 7.0 Beta, and I’m hoping to gather some feedback from others using the beta to report it to Samsung.
The issue is that Adaptive Power Saving currently doesn’t seem to allow for more granular control over specific power-saving settings based on usage. For example:
When playing a game, it doesn’t seem to keep the CPU at full performance (100%) while also saving battery. Instead, it throttles the CPU, which can impact performance.
It doesn’t appear to adjust settings like enabling dark mode or keeping adaptive refresh rate on for a better experience while still optimizing battery usage.
My request: I’d love to see Adaptive Power Saving become more dynamic, where it can adjust specific settings based on the activity (like gaming, browsing, etc.), allowing for better performance without sacrificing too much battery life.
If you're also experiencing this issue or think this feature would improve your experience, please reply to this post and also report it via the Samsung Members app under Beta Feedback.
The more people report it, the better the chances that Samsung will take action and consider improving the feature in the stable release!
Thanks for your help, and let’s work together to make One UI 7.0 even better!

You should also make a post and/or report it.
