Whenever you have the battery icon widget (that shows your phone battery along with any connected accessories) you should be able to click on the earbuds and be brought to the Wearable app. Same goes for the Galaxy Ring and Watch, bringing you to their respective settings/apps.
This would add far more functionality to the Widget then to just show battery percentages, almost acting as a accessory control center.
