SuggestionsFiles are moved to Trash primarily for two reasons.
- The image/video/file/document is unnecessary
- The image/video/file/document is private/sensitive and require to be gone
In the first case, if we delete the file to be in trash it does not matter if it remain in the trash for 30 days.
For the second case, it should be permanently gone. During One UI 7 beta, me along with a few fellow beta testers suggested that there should be an option either to enable/disable the Trash option. Also, it should be locked behind the screen lock. Alternatively, it was suggested that in the context menu, there be an option to "Delete Permanently" so that the file does not touch the Trash.
Unfortunately even in One UI 8, no such things are implemented.
Please Bring Back the Trash enable/disable, refined with password/security lock protection please.
