It would be great to be able to clear the cache on all apps instead of having to do each one individually.

You can!

Power off phone
Hold vol-up and power until screen comes on, you'll now be in the recovery mode
Use vol-down to find "clear-cache" and use the power button to select it.
Once done, reboot and profit!

That's not app cache I think. That's OS cache.

Actually, it's the dalvik-cache which clearing it frequently does free up space, pertaining to apps using mainly java script (I think), but app caches for apps we install/use and system (or preloaded) apps are usually cleared on their own usually with rebooting or manually (1 by 1) like the other person was mentioning. es

LG had an app that helped clearing all the caches from all the apps with one tap... (Smart Cleaning)
It would be great to have a feature like that on our devices too.

Something like the "optimize phone" to clear memory and close apps in the device care app.
