I really wish there was an option to use stock icons vs carrier icon(5g symbols etc.)

What do the stock icon look like? Mine look like this.

I prefer these 5g icons over at&t's icon

I don't think it's without purpose. Since the carriers have made such a mess of their 5G rollouts, they need more than a single generic 5G icon. They need different icons to specifically indicate which "level" of 5G you're accessing on their network
