I kindly request your consideration in addressing the issues with the color palette and Material You implementation. It appears that the option to disable the color palette in UI 8.0 previously offered a neutral theme, but this functionality has unfortunately deteriorated since UI 8.5 and remains unaddressed in UI 9. The current "off" setting now presents a rather discordant combination of gray and blue tones.
While enabling the color palette often mitigates this issue, it introduces another concern: the color palette frequently fails to accurately extract tones from wallpapers, often selecting colors that do not align with the background.
I would be most grateful if you would consider incorporating black or white color options within the Wallpaper and Styles section, specifically under basic colors. These are fundamental colors, and their direct availability would be highly advantageous. A more effective approach to achieving a truly matching color palette with our wallpapers could involve implementing a feature that allows users to select a color swatch directly from their wallpapers.
Furthermore, I have some reservations regarding the application of the color palette to icons, as its current functionality seems to be quite problematic. Samsung cannot attribute this to app developers, given Google's mandate for every application in the Play Store to provide a monochromatic alternative for listing. To date, Samsung has not extended the color palette to all applications, instead relying on Good Lock and ThemePark for this functionality. It seems rather unnecessary to depend on ThemePark to apply a color palette to all icons, especially considering that the menu no longer indicates a "Beta" status. The color palette feature on Samsung devices still appears to have significant shortcomings.
