SuggestionsHello,
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback on the current state of customization and theming options in One UI. Your suggestions highlight an important area where the user experience could be greatly improved by simplifying and unifying these tools.
1. Fragmentation of Theming Tools:
Youāve made an excellent point about the current fragmentation across Wallpaper & Style, Home Screen Settings, Galaxy Themes, and Theme Park. While advanced users may navigate these options with ease, consolidating them into a single, unified location would certainly make customization more accessible and user-friendly for everyone.
2. Enhancing Home Screen Settings:
The integration of HomeUp settings into Home Screen Settings was indeed a great step forward. Expanding this approach to include icon packs, color palettes, dark mode icons, and forced theming for unsupported icons could provide a cohesive and centralized solution.
3. Phasing Out Outdated Tools:
Simplifying by phasing out less intuitive or incomplete tools, as you suggested, would not only streamline the user experience but also reduce confusion for new or less tech-savvy users.
We'll ensure your feedback is shared with the development team. Unifying and enhancing these options could make One UI stand out even more as a leader in customization and personalization.
Regards,
One UI Beta Team
