Customization/personalization options (for icons specifically) in One UI are currently fragmented into

1) Wallpaper & Style
2) Home Screen Settings
3) Galaxy Themes
4) Theme Park

While advanced users are able to navigate this, the fragmentation is overwhelming and confusing for the average user. Beyond just fragmentation, many of the options we are given are incomplete compared to third party launchers and theming tools.

Samsung, please consider unifying these various theming tools into a single location.

The integration of HomeUp icon settings into Home Screen Settings was an excellent start!

Please consider adding icon packs, color pallete, dark mode icons, forced icon theming for unsupported icons, etc. into Home Screen Settings as well. Then you can begin phasing out the outdated and incomplete tools.

This would simplify and unify the theming experience, making it easier, more accessible, and more friendly for the end user.

Hello,

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback on the current state of customization and theming options in One UI. Your suggestions highlight an important area where the user experience could be greatly improved by simplifying and unifying these tools.

1. Fragmentation of Theming Tools:
Youā€™ve made an excellent point about the current fragmentation across Wallpaper & Style, Home Screen Settings, Galaxy Themes, and Theme Park. While advanced users may navigate these options with ease, consolidating them into a single, unified location would certainly make customization more accessible and user-friendly for everyone.

2. Enhancing Home Screen Settings:
The integration of HomeUp settings into Home Screen Settings was indeed a great step forward. Expanding this approach to include icon packs, color palettes, dark mode icons, and forced theming for unsupported icons could provide a cohesive and centralized solution.

3. Phasing Out Outdated Tools:
Simplifying by phasing out less intuitive or incomplete tools, as you suggested, would not only streamline the user experience but also reduce confusion for new or less tech-savvy users.

We'll ensure your feedback is shared with the development team. Unifying and enhancing these options could make One UI stand out even more as a leader in customization and personalization.

Regards,

One UI Beta Team

Yeah, greatly written summary. Samsung just needs that extra touch in details since this software is so stable
