SuggestionsHello,
Thank you for your feedback regarding Dual SIM and 5G connectivity on the S24 and S25 series.
Currently, most smartphones, including the Galaxy S24 and S25, support Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS), meaning both SIMs can be active but only one can use 5G at a time. The Data Switching feature allows the device to dynamically switch between SIMs for better connectivity, ensuring efficient network usage.
While Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA)—where both SIMs show 5G simultaneously—is possible in theory, it requires additional hardware support, modem capabilities, and carrier cooperation, which may not be available on current devices. However, we understand how useful this feature would be, and we’ll ensure your feedback is shared with the relevant teams for consideration in future developments.
Thanks again for your input, and we appreciate your participation in the One UI Beta program!
Regards,
One UI Beta Team
