The only way to open the notifications shade is either by rolling it from the top of the screen or navigating to the home screen followed by a swipe down.
Please add an option to access the notifications shade from any screen more easily! Some options are:
1. Double or long press the side key
2. Assign this action as an Assistant App
3. Assign this action to the same gesture that activate One-handed mode (user can choose either / or)
4. Long swipe the Back gesture
I am sure there are more clever ways but the point is that the larger the screen and the smaller the hands, the more difficult it gets to access the panel.
