Like I said in my previous comment they are not phasing it out you just cannot download new Edge Panels from within Edge Panels you have to go to the Store and search
What I'm saying is that I had panels that got removed. I used to have Quick Links, Tools Panel, and a Smart Select Panel. If you go into the store and search those, none of them, except Quick Links, are available anymore. I see Quick Links installed, but it's not in my panels. Then, they sent a message saying that if you uninstall panels, you won't be able to re-install them. I could be wrong, but in my almost 15-year experience, that usually means they're moving towards removing it. Plus, that's what Sammobile is hypothesizing. He's been doing this for years.
