Please consider improving the digital wellbeing tools to be on par with competitors. Currently, users are unable to:
- Prevent app installs
- Prevent app uninstalls
- Prevent bypassing app limits
- Enter a "Zen Mode" in which the user is forced to take a break from the device
- Enforce safesearch
- Restrict specific websites
- Restrict specific keywords
These are all features available on other manufacturer's devices. Yes, there are third-party solutions, but these can be easily bypassed. A deeply integrated first-party solution could prevent users from bypassing device-level restrictions/limits.
For example, Screen time settings on iOS are incredibly useful for locking down and managing my children's devices without creating a whole separate managed account for a child, as Family Link requires and I do not want to do. Furthermore, content restriction settings should not be limited to a child's account/device for a number of reasons.
Samsung, please consider the various mental health and wellbeing needs of your users by providing comparable tools.
